TENSE



 Simple Present Tense:


  • Simple Present Tense is used to express general truth/ universal fact/ scientifically proven fact.
Examples
  • The sun rises in the east.
  • The sun sets in the west.
  • Two plus two makes four.
  • Water boils at 100°c. 
  • The sun gives us light.

  • Simple Present Tense is used to express habits.
Examples: 
  • I play cricket every Sunday.
  • My mother takes bath early in the morning everyday.
  • He goes to school every morning.
